My love of animals began when I was a child.  We always had dogs, cats, and birds in our household.  This passion continued into adulthood and soon I became the proud "dad" to three dogs-Lhotse, Skye, and Dallas; two cats-Rascal and Terror; and a rabbit-Pufinstuff.  Currently my wife Elynn and I share our home with the business's namesake-our dog Dallas.

Having been around pets all my life, and with Skye being born with an auto-immune disorder, I have learned a lot about animal health and behavior.  The care of Skye, as well as caring for our senior pets, gave me experience in administering medication, giving injections, and in the special needs of large breed dogs.

In the past Skye and I participated in basic obedience training, and Dallas and I were members of Seattle's Best Canine's Flyball group for five years.  While he never ran in a tournament, Dallas and I both enjoyed the training and exercise involved in the sport.  Additionally, I have been a member of Wolf Haven International for 20 years and always enjoy visiting their sanctuary and discovering more about canine behavior.

While I have a great deal of experience with animals, perhaps my most important attributes are my gentle nature and patience.

I have been surrounded by animals all my life and I wouldn't have it any other way!
