Zak Tazmon

Hello, I’m Zak, the “dad” of three dogs (Mocha, Evy, and Little Nikki Puppy).  In the past I was also dad to three kitties, one of whom lived until age 22!

I was involved in the administration of Dallas and Pals when Elynn started her business in 2006.  Elynn and I have known each other for many years and she was always impressed with the way I interacted with animals of all kind so she hired me.

While I have experience and enjoy caring for dogs and cats of all ages, there is a special place in my heart for senior pets.  Caring for my own pets, as well as pet sitting for many years, has provided me the skills to give injections, syringe feed, administer medications, provide wound care, and many other procedures.  Perhaps my most important asset is my gentle nature and an abundance of patience.

Being supportive of the animal community and helping to educate people about  responsible pet ownership is very important to me.  One way for me to do this is to participate in volunteer work parties at Grandview off-leash dog park. 

In addition to working with Dallas and Pals, I am also the owner of Crazy Misfits Dog Boarding and Daycare (www.crazymisfits.com). 

As you can tell, my world is all about animals and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
